The positions available are with some of Ireland’s leading architectural firms. The successful candidate must have:

Good knowledge of Revit Architecture
Experience working in an architectural firm
Previous work on similar projects

The starting salary will range between €30,000 and €40,000 however this is negotiable and depending on experience.

Structural CAD Technician – UK

MCK Global are currently recruiting Structural CAD Technicians with Revit experience for one of our clients based in Scotland. The role is with an established and award winning engineering consultancy based near Edinburgh. The company offers consultancy services in both civil and structural engineering to clients in the residential, commercial and retail sectors across the UK. They are presently looking to take on an experienced Revit Technician on a permanent bases to augment their structures team. Some site attendance will also be required.

This role is a permanent position and presents the opportunity for career progression with a company which provides a positive work environment for their employees to thrive.

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Tekla Draughtsperson – UK

MCK Global are presently recruiting a TEKLA Draughtsperson to work on a permanent basis for one of our clients based in the North East of England. Our client is an established company whose workload covers a wide range of structural and metalwork packages solely for the Canadian market. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the most successful structural steel fabrication and erection companies in Canada. In terms of experience, our client is looking for the following:

* A minimum of 3 years experience within the structural steelwork industry is required.

* Previous experience with TeklaStructures 3D modelling software is essential.

* An understanding of AISC/CISC standards is an asset.

* Duties will include all aspects of steelwork modelling and drawing production to meet tight schedules within a busy and modern office environment.

* Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be fluent in English.

Salary: £25,000 – £33,000 per annum

Civil Engineering Technician – UK

MCK Global are currently hiring a civil engineering technician for our client based in Scotland. Reinforced concrete detailing experience is essential. Prior experience of working on commercial projects, hydro and bridges is preferred.

Our client is an established family run business based in the Highlands. The position is permanent, offering a long term opportunity to advance your career within the company. As well as office based duties, site based work will also be available.

Due to our client’s location, this position is suited to those who enjoy outdoor activities and rural living as opposed to city life. Major cities can be easily accessed by car however.
