MCK Global is currently recruiting a 3D Designer/ Drafter for an established timber structures’ engineering & construction company based in Canada. As a brief background the position is with a successful Timber structures construction company involved in the design, fabrication and erection of innovative timber structures across Canada and the United States such as long span roofs, tall wood buildings, seismic structures, free form structures and large scale mass timber structures. The company in question breaks new ground in design concepts, sophistication, craftsmanship and quality, and their work has been recognised internationally, including numerous awards for innovation in timber construction. The role of Designer/Drafter is a key one for the company and carries the responsibility of transforming Architects’ and Engineers’ information into accurate 3D models for fabrication and erection of structures on site.
The role will suit individuals who have a strong interest in living overseas on a long term/ permanent basis in a country such as Canada.
Requirement:
-Minimum 2 years’ experience modelling timber structures with 3D software.
-Experience with HSB CAD is advantageous but not essential.
Salary:
$55.000 – $70.000 (Canadian dollars) depending on experience.
