Our client, an established steel reinforcing contractor, requires experienced Steel Fixers for long term work in Alberta, Canada. Successful candidates are required to have substantial experience of installing rebar on major commercial and industrial projects. Foreman experience is also advantageous or as a minimum candidates will possess the skills required to take the step up to leading crews.
Please note the positions are only suitable for individuals or those with families with a strong interest in relocating to Canada on a permanent basis. On offer is the opportunity of continuous and steady employment working on prestigious projects in one of Alberta’s major cities and the oil patch region. The positions bring the prospect of an increased standard of living and career progression. Rates will start at $35.49 CAD per hour or $38.28 CAD per hour depending on the project. It is expected that candidates will have the ability to progress to Foreman level whereupon rates will increase further to $38.15 CAD per hour or $42.11 CAD per hour. In addition, generous assistance will be provided with initial accommodation which will be provided for 2 months to allow new employees time to settle in the area before finding their own property. A $30 CAD daily payment will also be made for two months to help with the transition period. Successful candidates will be employed directly by our client who will ensure that you are welcomed into your new surroundings.
